Design Thinking

User's manual and common practices

If you work in innovation, chances are that you have already heard about design thinking. It is a methodology regarded as the golden standard for innovation, attracting followers and detractors alike. However, many of us don't have a full understanding of it, nor of its pros and cons. Do you know how it can help your organization on a daily basis? A design thinking project requires the use of numerous tools that facilitate proper execution. Getting to know these tools, learning them and internalizing them takes time. To aid in learning them, one of the pioneers of this discipline, Stanford University's Institute of Design (the d.school) has compiled some of the most common techniques in a singular document. At Lantern, we also use design thinking tools in our innovation methodology. For that reason, we have made this document available for download in Spanish.
